Meet The Judges

Today we announce not one, not two, but THREE guests for AnimeCTX! These three are masters of their craft, and when you don’t see them guiding tomorrow’s promising cosplayers you’ll find them at the Cosplay Contest.

First up is MikoMiko Cosplay Miko is mainly known for constructing large full body costumes of varying characters and creatures, and she loves tackling new challenges! Some of Miko’s latest award-winning works include Revali from the Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, and the Dober Mail Hunter set from Monster Hunter World. Along with fine attention to craftsmanship detail, Miko aims to be approachable while helping others break through barriers towards more intricate designs and details. On a normal day, you can find her elbow deep in fabric for the next wild idea she has.

This next judge isn’t nearly as scary as some of her cosplays may make her out to seem. But don’t be mistaken, she’s absolutely a master of foams, silicones, and thermoplastics. Vraskaa has been featured in Cosplayzine on multiple occasions, been featured on a Kotaku article, had her Bioshock cosplay shared by the makers of the game, and has hosted panels over building cosplay armor in the past to help others create. Stop by her booth to see some of her past work and the new creations she will be debuting at this event!

Last, but certainly not least is the master masterful duo of the cosplay arts, Hybrid Cosplay! Hybrid Cosplay is a cosplaying team made up of Yami and Johnny whose spread the message that cosplay should be about fun, and being able to enjoy seeing someone’s face light up when they see their favorite character bought to life.
