Chris Patton has been voice acting in Anime, Video Games, and Audiobooks for nineteen years. He’s been fortunate enough to work for every major dubbing studio in the US, from ADV in their “golden” years, to Funimation, Bang Zoom, Okratron, and Sentai Filmworks.
Some of his more notable roles include Sousuke Sagara in the Full Metal Panic franchise, (including the much-anticipated fourth season: Invisible Victory), Greed in Fullmetal Alchemist (original and Brotherhood), Oikawa in Haikyuu!, Keima in The World God Only Knows, Kliff in Fire Emblem Echoes, Eiji in Sword Art Online: Ordinal Scale, Ayato in Diabolik Lovers and Diabolik Lovers: More Blood, and Hajime in the now-infamous cult hit dub of Ghost Stories. Some of his favorite roles include Fakir in Princess Tutu, Sasame in Pretear, Nagi (Alice) Arisuin in Chivalry of a Failed Knight, Sho Fukamachi in Guyver, Asura in Soul Eater, and Asahi in the JRPG Akiba’s Beat.

As an Audiobook Narrator, Chris has performed over 130 titles, including the Disney novelizations of Tron: Legacy and Guardians of the Galaxy. He was awarded the Golden Earphones award for his narration of the non-fiction title The Dorito Effect, which was featured on NPR and won multiple awards.

In the realm of live theatre, Chris has been seen on-stage as Riff Raff and Dr. Frank N Furter in The Rocky Horror Show, Mark Cohen in RENT, Simon in Jesus Christ Superstar, Montague in Romeo and Juliet, and dozens more. As a theatrical director, Chris has directed award-winning productions of Green Day’s American Idiot, Silence! The Musical, an original musical based on the album Days of Future Passed by The Moody Blues, and two successful productions of Hedwig and the Angry Inch.

Chris is a complete and total roller coaster nerd, a cat dad, a caffeine addict, a Thelemite, a connoisseur of New Wave music, and a horror movie enthusiast. A native of Houston, he now makes his home and living in Los Angeles. This is his first time at Anime CTX, and he’s so happy to be visiting one of his favorite cities in the world, Austin!
